This year we have a real feast of entertainment as four top bands bring it on with a great vibe. Prepare to be truly entertained as we party on into 2012!

The Peasants are an indie-pop group based in Nelson. The band gained acclaim and Kiwi music success as winners of the 2011 National Smokefreerockquest. They offer a dynamic on stage performance displaying their youthful energy while performing a tight and mature sound true to their sense of musicality.

Tommy & The Fallen Horses are New Zealand’s best kept secret, performing a seamless blend of happy, high energy country, rock & reggae.

Master Pilot Sound System are best described as funked up hip-hop. A DJ and three MCs produce a mixture of top quality scratching and singing/rapping over original beats. Lyrics are sassy, poignant, intelligent and witty.

The Lizard Kings bring the music of The Doors alive! Break on through to the other side as they play all the Doors greatest hits like - Light My Fire, Love Me Two Times and Riders on the Storm. Live on stage in 3D with superb visual effects from light magician Klaasz Breukel. The Lizard Kings have played sold out houses across the nation.

Don’t forget the special surprise performances and your chance to come early and catch a café dinner. There’ll be festivities from 5pm on the Square, be there!
